Can anyone give me tips on how to loose stomach fat? You know like tone my tummy.?
Hi everyone! My name is Kelly and I’m 13 years old. I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on how to tone my abs. I’m not a big girl but my abs are a little flabby. I’ve tried almost everthing! Please help!!
Hi Kelly,
The best way to slim your waistline is to do these four things:
1) Stop drinking drinks like Kool-aid and especially like soda–they are like liquid candy and the sugars will turn to fat overnight. Only drink water and occasionally natural juices such as orange juice (not from concentrate). And be sure to drink PLENTY of water. Eliminating the fat that goes into our body is the first step in keeping it off.
2) Eat healthier and responsibly. Don’t eat unless you’re actually hungry. Eat 5 to 6 small meals a day instead of the regular-portion breakfast/lunch/dinner–eating smaller meals more often during the day will increase your metabolism and help you to burn fat easier.
3) Do a lot of running and jogging. If you have nowhere safe in your neighborhood to jog, then find a local track, such as one at a school, or consider asking your parents for an inexpensive treadmill. Otherwise, running in place while listening to music will work, but it won’t be as good as stretching your legs in an actual jog or run. Run/jog for at least 30 minutes a day, if you can. If not, start at 5 minute sessions and build your way up to 30 minutes over time. This will burn fat not just on your stomach but all over, and will increase your endurance.
4) To target your abs, you will want to do bicycle crunches. They are different than sit-ups and regular crunches, and are much more effective than either of those exercises. I’ll post a link to a video to show you the correct way to do them. If you follow these suggestions and stay committed to eating right and working out, you will feel better and eventually start seeing defined abs. Good luck, and enjoy your slimmer belly!

Running is the best thing. I would do some treadmill.
do lots of cardio..drink lots of water and exercise your muscle…ab work included. dedicate at least 45minutes a day to working out and you will see results gauranteed. dont stress too much over your body..your still young and have plenty of growing to do still yet.
ab work and fat burn exercises….duh
well hopefully this works ok put your legs on like your couch or bed and make sure your back is on the ground and your hips like aren’t touching the ground but ok push your legs down into the bed or couch and begin to push your upper body up with your ab muscles you should feel them work that way hopefully that works give them a try hopefully it works best of luck
please do kapalbhati pranayam as advised by baba Ramdev in Aaastha channel for 10 minutes daily
Exercise ball crunches – This is a good one if you are just starting to exercise.
- Step 1 – Sit on the ball and place your hands on the back of your head and walk your legs out lowering your body on to the ball until your upper back and shoulders are all that remain on top of the ball. Legs should be shoulder width apart.
- Step 2 – Lift your pelvic to straighten your lower back and tighten your buttocks and contract the abdomen muscles.
- Steps 3 – Keeping your elbows pointing out to the side slowly raise the shoulders slightly being careful not to pull the neck. You should feel the crunch in the abdominals; the thighs and buttock muscles will be working too.
- Step 4 – Hold the position for a moment then slowly lower the shoulders to the ball and repeat for as many times as you can perform the exercise without straining.
Rest for 30 seconds or less between sets. Do 2 or 3 sets of 12 to 15 repetitions every other day.
