Lowering your overall bodyfat is the best way to lose fat from ______ (fill in the blank) Stay active, and eating after the gym is OK your metabolism is boosted for three hours after you workout [What I eat everyday] I really dont plan this out. But MOSTLY what I eat is fresh vegetables, lots of lean protein (keeps you full, good for you, helps you build muscle), and fruits. This doesnt mean I dont eat simple carbs or bad foods- I just try to not to make all my meals center around them. I try to limit it to one meal max a day thats carb heavy UNLESS its “good” carbs like brown rice, whole grains, oatmeal stuff like that Breakfast- eat a big one! Yogurt, fruits, eggs, ham whatever. Just get a good breakfast in. Keep in mind MOST cereals are rotten for you, and I dont think they taste very good anyway Lunch & Dinner- lotttsss of veggies (I like em steamed raw whatever), lean protein I try not to eat more than one carb heavy meal a day. MARTHA CARRIER was Indicted for the bewitching certain Persons, according to the Form usual in such Cases, pleading Not guilty, to her Indictment; there were first brought in a considerable number of the bewitched Persons; who not only made the Court sensible of an horrid Witchcraft committed upon them, but also deposed,That it was Martha Carrier, or her Shape, that grievously tormented them, by Biting, Pricking, Pinching and Choaking of them. It was further deposed,That while this Carrier was on her Examination, before the Magistrates, the Poor People were so tortured that every one expected their Death upon the very spot, but that upon the binding of Carrier they were eased. Moreover the Look of Carrier then laid the Afflicted People for dead; and her Touch, if her Eye at the same time were off them, raised them again WhichThings were also now seen upon her Tryal. And it was testified, That upon the mention of some having their Necks twisted almost round, by the Shape of this Carrier, she replyed, ‘Its no matter though their Necks had been twisted quite off.
2.Before the Tryal of this Prisoner, several of her own children had frankly and fully confessed, not only that they were Witches themselves, but that this their Mother had made them so.This Confession they made with great Shews of Repentance, and with much Demonstration of Truth. They related Place, Time, Occasion; they gave an account of Journeys, Meetings and Mischiefs by them performed, and were very credible in what they said. Nevertheless, this Evidence was not produced against the Prisoner at the Bar, inasmuch as there was other Evidence enough to proceed upon.
3.Benjamin Abbot gave his Testimony, That last March was a twelvemonth, this Carrier was very angry with him, upon laying out some Land, near her Husband’s: Her Expressions in this Anger, were, That she would stick as close to Abbot as the Bark stuck to the Tree; and that he should repent of it afore seven years came to an End, so as Doctor Prescot should never cure him.These Words were heard by others besides Abbot himself; who also heard her say, She would hold his Nose as close to the grindstone as ever it was held since his Name was Abbot. Presently after this, he was taken with a Swelling in his Foot, and then with a Pain in his Side, and exceedingly tormented. It bred into a Sore, which was launced by Doctor Prescot, and several Gallons of Corruption ran out of it. For six Weeks it continued very bad, and then another Sore bred in the Groin, which was also lanced by Doctor Prescot. Another Sore then bred in his Groin, which was likewise cut, and put him to very great Misery: He was brought unto Death’s Door, and so remained until Carrier was taken, and carried away by the Constable, from which very Day he began to mend, and so grew better every Day, and is well ever since.
Sarah Abbot also, his Wife, testified, That her Husband was not only all this while Afflicted in his Body, but also that strange extraordinary and unaccountable Calamities befel his Cattel; their Death being such as they could guess at no Natural Reason for.
4.Allin Toothaker testify’d, That Richard, the son of Martha Carrier, having some difference with him, pull’d him down by the Hair of the Head. When he Rose again, he was going to strike at Richard Carrier; but fell down flat on his Back to the ground, and had not power to stir hand or foot, until he told Carrier he yielded; and then he saw the shape of Martha Carrier, go off his breast.
This Toothaker, had Received a wound in the Wars; and he now testify’d, that Martha Carrier told him, He should never be Cured. Just afore the Apprehending of Carrier, he could thrust a knitting Needle into his wound, four inches deep; but presently after her being seized, he was thoroughly healed. He further testify’d, that when Carrier and he sometimes were at variance, she would clap her hands at him, and say, He should get nothing by it; whereupon he several times lost his Cattle, by strange Deaths, whereof no natural causes could be given.
5.John Rogger also testifyed, That upon the threatning words of this malicious Carrier, his Cattle would be strangely bewitched; as was more particularly then described.
6.Samuel Preston testify’d, that about two years ago, having some difference with Martha Carrier, he lost a Cow in a strange Preternatural unusual manner; and about a month after this, the said Carrier, having again some difference with him, she told him; He had lately lost a Cow, and it should not be long before he lost another; which accordingly came to pass; for he had a thriving and well-kept Cow, which without any known cause quickly fell down and dy’d.
7.Phebe Chandler testify’d, that about a Fortnight before the apprehension of Martha Carrier, on a Lords-day while the Psalm was singing in the Church, this Carrier then took her by the shoulder and shaking her, asked her, where she lived: she made her no Answer, although as Carrier, who lived next door to her Fathers House, could not in reason but know who she was.
Quickly after this, as she was at several times crossing the Fields, she heard a voice, that she took to be Martha Carriers, and it seem’d as if it was over her head.The voice told her, she should within two or three days be poisoned. Accordingly, within such a little time, one half of her right hand, became greatly swollen, and veiy painful; as also part of her Face: whereof she can give no account how it came. It continued very bad for some dayes; and several times since, she has had a great pain in her breast; and been so seized on her leggs, that she has hardly been able to go. She added, that lately, going well to the House of God, Richard, the son of Martha Carrier, look’d very earnestly upon her, and immediately her hand, which had formerly been poisoned, as is abovesaid, began to pain her greatly, and she had a strange Burning at her stomach; but was then struck deaf, so that she could not hear any of the prayer, or singing, till the two or three last words of the Psalm.
8.One Foster, who confessed her own share in the Witchcraft for which the Prisoner stood indicted, affirm’d, that she had seen the prisoner at some of their Witch-meetings, and that it was this Carrier, who perswaded her to be a Witch. She confessed, that the Devil carry’d them on a pole, to a Witch-meeting; but the pole broke, and she hanging about Carriers neck, they both fell down, and she then received an hurt by the Fall, whereof she was not at this very time recovered.
9.One Lacy, who likewise confessed her share in this Witchcraft, now testify’d, that she and the prisoner were once Bodily present at a Witch-meeting in Salem Village; and that she knew the prisoner to be a Witch, and to have been at a Diabolical sacrament, and that the prisoner was the undoing of her, and her Children, by enticing them into the snare of the Devil.
10. Another Lacy, who also confessed her share in this Witchcraft, now testify’d, that the prisoner was at the Witch-meeting, in Salem Village, where they had Bread and Wine Administred unto them.
11. In the time of this prisoners Trial, one Susanna Sheldon, in open Court had her hands Unaccountably ty’d together with a wheel-band, so fast that without cutting, it could not be loosed: It was done by a Spectre; and the Sufferer affirm’d, it was the Prisoners.
Memorandum. This rampant Hag, Martha Carrier, was the person, of whom the Confessions of the Witches, and of her own children among the rest, agreed, That the Devil had promised her, she should be Queen of Heb.

Burn Belly Fat Without Stupid Diets Or Hours Of Excercise.

Although Hong Tau Bakery has been at the Peachtree Plaza for a number of years, it’s tucked away location in one corner of the island building of the plaza has evaded my baked goods sluething self. While the old school nondescript interiors is all but inviting, and the fact that at 7pm there were still relatively plenty (for an Asian bakery on a weekend, this is rather rare) of selection left, I took a gamble and found a good place for seemingly healthy baked goods. Most Asian buns are soft and spongy – attributable to the use of oils in the bread, most pastries leave greasy finishes – mainly due to the use of lard or shortening, however Hong Tao’s tasted almost healthy. I was told by the lady behind the counter that many of their items are healthier, using less fat or sugar, and even alternative ingredients like soy milk! Observe from a few items that made it back to my kitchen where I was able to take their pictures (yes, I did have a full dinner, yes, I did eat 4 baked items afterwards. I tell you I have a weakness (and second stomach) for fresh baked goods!):
Classic egg tart aka dan tat (with a puff pastry base – my pref): the custard was not saccharine like too many other places, had a deep golden colour, and was filled in a non-greasy but still flaky crust – wow)
Po Lo Bun (aka plain pineapple top bun) – fluffy bun that’s a little on the drier side, but healthier tasting like a diner roll (vs. a soft and supple grease sponge – you know who you are Furama!) that was only mildly sweetened by the crisp cookie topping. Call me a snore but I liked this more. Oooh that rhymed.
Egg white egg tart – less sweet than the already reduced sugar classic version and with a custard that was lighter (almost looser texture) and almost like steamed egg whites with milk. As expected, that’s what you get for not having egg yolks. I thought it was ok, but I can see how some might find it bland. Again, flaky non-greasy puff pastry. Is that ever possible? Yup.
Soymilk sponge cake. This was my favourite of all the items purchased. It was also a last minute addition to my bakery tray (great rec by the lady behind the counter). It’s just like regular castella sponge (but not as sweet – that’s a good thing), with a fine and dense crumb, incredibly moist (none of that flat metalic flavour that sometimes is associated with soymilk baked goods), and bound together with a thin layer of sweetened paste (not kaya, but something of that texture).
I can see these baked goods being of great appeal for those who are older or watching their sugar intake. I’d go back to try more things and pick up another block or two of that soymilk sponge cake!

You know, maybe a few times in one’s life come opportunities to feel a closeness to amazing human accomplishment – to meet, to observe, to appreciate people who magnificently overshadow the puny imaginations of the rest of us. Today I had that privilege. Today I met a woman in an improbable vessel in the placid calm of a mirrored indigo sea with flying fish swarming about. It was magical. I met Roz Savage.
I’f you’ve been living in a cave, you may not know about Roz. First, imagine getting into a rowboat. Now imagine rowing across the Atlantic Ocean. Now imagine rowing around the world! Got that? Around the World!
You might want to take break from my drivel to visit her web site at Roz Savage, Ocean Rower. In fact, I insist. I seldom insist.
I’ve been following Roz for some time. I admit to being an adventurer groupie. Roz is The Rock Star of adventurers. I clearly remember being mesmerised by the grainy images of Commander Neil Armstrong hopping off the ladder to land flat-footed on the moon. I never had the privilege of meeting Commander Armstrong. But, today I met Roz Savage. I just can’t stop saying it. I met Roz Savage.
Don’t mistake my comparison for hyperbole. Landing on the moon is a huge accomplishment. It was backed by a huge government with a huge budget and a huge national interest in making it happen. We can’t compare apples to oranges here, but both are sweet fruit.
What interests me here is the motivation. Roz’s tag line, Rowing towards a greener future, says a lot about what drives her. I’ll say more about that later. First, let me take you with me as I relive this morning’s experience.
Here is the GPS chart from Faded Glory. Last night, as if in a dream, I had the insane notion that I might be able to go out and find Roz to welcome her to Madang. I do a lot of goofy things, This is by no means the goofiest. I loaded up plenty of fuel and took off with three cameras, binoculars and a small bag containing some munchies and beer:
You can see my path out from Madang as the wobbly line from town to the lower left corner of the image. After nearly two hours I began to consider that she may have made better time that expected and I thought about turning back toward Madang to look for her. I saw a flash in the distance, but, through my binoculars, I could see that it was a sailfish jumping. A banana boat came along, heading to Madang. I waved them down and felt a little silly asking them if they had seen a woman in a big rowboat. They gave me a puzzled look. However, they did say that they had seen something "over that way" in the distance. I started heading "over that way".
Shortly thereafter I saw a black dot on the horizon. I thought, "This is crazy. It can’t be her." I kept going and soon I could make out with my binoculars that it was, indeed. I gave a little more throttle to Faded Glory and approached within another five minutes.
I introduced myself and we chatted for a few minutes. Roz allowed me to tag along until she was able to calculate whether she could make Madang before nightfall. If I let Faded Glory drift after taking her out of gear I could get her down to about 2 knots. The numbers weren’t good. It looked to me as if Roz could, at best, arrive in Madang between 19:00 and 21:00. I nearly burst my buttons when she told me that those were also her numbers.
Not wishing to arrive during the night, Roz finalised her decision to ease off and arrive near the entrance to Madang Harbour at Dallmann Passage at about daybreak. This would allow her to enter the harbour passing the iconic Coastwatchers Monument at a time convenient for her welcoming party. This demeanor of consideration simply stuns me. I would be steaming to port as quickly as possible.
Speaking of welcomers, Sir Peter Barter made a splash near Roz yesterday when he dropped a care package with the obligatory beers and victuals from his helicopter. Sir Peter is hosting Roz and taking care of all of her needs for her visit here in Madang. I think that most people don’t realise what a big deal that is. It’s not just handing over the key to a hotel room. It is an enormous job and Sir Peter has the wherewithal to get it done. Roz is blessed to have such a trustworthy supporter here in Paradise.
As I made final arrangements for photography in the morning and passed over to Roz the little offering of goodies, I did not want to leave. I can’t explain that. Finally, I waved off and forced myself to shove the throttle forward and not look back. Suddenly, I felt that "old man thing" when unexpected tears blurred my vision. In my mind was the whisper, "May the wind be at your back, Roz."
Roz had the composure, good humour and grace of a young woman out for a row on a glassy pond on a Sunday afternoon. I suppose that one must possess those qualities to do what she does. The heart of a lion and the soaring spirit of an eagle are also necessary attributes.
Earlier I said that I would mention more about what drives Roz. She says it best. I take the liberty of quoting directly from the page on her web site Roz and the Environment:

If I don’t recycle this glass bottle, then maybe not the next one, nor the one after that, over the course of my lifetime how many of my bottles will end up in landfill instead of being reused? Is that pile of bottles something I would want in MY backyard?
On the other hand, if I do the right thing – for example, if I ask for a paper bag in the store instead of a plastic one or, better still, take my own re-useable bag – might someone else notice my choice and decide to do the same?
If I take my reusable mug to the coffee shop instead of using a paper, plastic or styrofoam cup, how many disposable cups will I save in a year, in five years, in my life?
If I walk or cycle instead of driving to work – or even just park a mile short and walk the rest of the way – might I inspire my colleagues to do the same? How much gas money will I save in a year?
I found that when I started living in a more environmentally conscious way, it felt good. It made me feel like a better person. Give it a try and see if it works for you.

do alot of crunches everyday
and jog/run
cut some calories out of your diet but still 1500+
don’t eat fat shyt, like soda (drink only water) and not junk food, and u might see results

Do the hardest thing you can think of each day, first.
Reset the odometer today from 1000 km to 1000 ml.
Why bother?
Since late last year I’ve been running an experiment trying to work out why people might fail doing impossible tasks.
So I figured I’d pick something I thought might be hard, break it into small bits and keep going until I finish or fail. So far so good. Every couple of days I’ll get out the boots or runners and walk, run 10km. That’s 10,000m a hit or more than 10K steps per session always completing the session once you start. So that’s what I’ve been doing. Summer, winter, day, night any time I get some spare time, out come the boots.
Sometimes I run but mostly walk. I’ve mostly carried weights from 12 to 16Kg from about the 400Km mark. I never go if I think I’m injured. The course is cross country on a set track, same direction up a lot of steep hills and some flats. It’s hard work.
The objective is to find out if I can keep doing this, repeating the same task again and again until I crack or finish. Now it’s time to reset the odometer. Now I’m trying for 1000miles. So in the next 80 days or so I’ll see if I can do 60 days of pt.
Fail
At the end of it I’ll have a better understanding of failure, why I didn’t fail. and how I could have. This is important to me. Right now there are people failing in doing what they set out to do and they probably don’t know why? This is especially true in Startups. A lot has been written why you shouldn’t give up, but not much how and why you fail. My preliminary findings are:
- set a goal
- keep working hard
- focus on the short term with eye on longterm
- don’t crack on short term goal
- stick at it
At the same time
- maintain positive mental attitude
- make a plan
- focus
People get distracted for some reason by the smallest of things. They also get into a downwards spiral decline, loose morale and quit. There’s a big long list that can go wrong but I like to keep things simple. I try to remember, one foot in front of another and keep going until I finish. Then start again the next day. That’s the simple bit. I’ll be writing about it soon… if I can get around to finishing it
Fitness
There’s a secondary benefit, fitness. Our nation is unfit. This wasn’t always the case. I grew up in a sports crazed country in the most sports mad state in Australia in an era where fitness, sport and activity was encouraged and expected. Now there is a national fitness alert from diseases that used to be associated with old age. Our country as a whole is unfit. In fact the cult of fitness runs second to just about everything. It’s not just economic fitness we should keep an eye on. Lack of fitness also has a financial cost. It also has a personal cost. You just can’t work as hard if you are unfit. By the time you work this out it is too late. Most cannot stomach the amount of hard work to be fit and stay fit. Most could never justify the 2hrs every couple of day it takes.
I’m looking around at my High school peers (always a dangerous place to make comparisons) and you can see the results of inactivity. I can also see how much work they have to do to get into better shape. It’s not just a matter of exercise but food and setting aside the time to do the hard yards.

"The grass runway isn’t usable after the weather we’ve had. It’s a bit muddy out there."
Yeah, I noticed. I was only traversing the grass to get to the tarmac runway so I hadn’t asked about it specifically. It’s not easy to move on grass, so I wasn’t surprised, at first, that I needed to push the RPM right up to keep the plane moving. The furrow was about 3 feet long before the nose wheel dug in and the plane refused to budge another inch.
There was a line of flat grass underneath the propellor; my stomach churned when I saw it. But there was still just about 2 inches between the prop and the ground, no damage was done. Other than to my pride: the green grassy streaks on the edges of the blades made it clear to everyone just how close I’d come.
Luckily, there were some very friendly men at Shobdon who were happy to help out this damsel in distress.

Exercise a lot. Run, jog, walk, sit ups, etc. Depending on your weight though. If you’re not too overweight, you’ll be fine in a month.

How Much Protein do I Need?
One of the conversations I quite often hear during my workouts is between people talking about how much protein they need to get for optimal results from their weight training. Although different people have different protein needs, there are some general guidelines you can depend on that derive from the type of exercises you’re doing and what your goals are.
Protein is an important and essential part of any nutrition plan. Its main function is to provide the building blocks the human body needs to maintain and repair cells. A diet lacking in protein can result in the body not being able to heal itself.
The average person who doesn’t do any real physical activity probably needs about 1 gram of protein for every 2 pounds of body weight independent of gender. So a woman who leads a fairly average life, who isn’t overweight, and weighs 130 pounds would need about 65 grams of protein for optimal health.
Someone who is more active and who engages in light physical activities like walking, yoga, yard work or something similar would need slightly, closer to 1 gram for every 1.5 pounds of body weight. Using this caculation, our woman would need about 86 grams of protein each day.
At the top of the spectrum would be a person who engages in weight training for the purpose of building muscle and strength needs more protein than either of the above examples. In the case of our woman above being a body-builder or power lifter, her goals should be to aim for 1 gram of protein for each pound of body weight for her target weight, with her target weight being the weight she wants to be, not the weight she is. So if she weighs 130 (like above), but wanted to gain 10 pounds of muscle, she should aim for 140 grams of protein a day.
These are just general suggestions you can use as a starting point for figuring out your optimal protein intake depending onthe kind of work out you’re doing. If you’re a weight lifter looking to get bigger and stronger, it’s essential that you get enough calories and plenty of protein. If you don’t, it doesn’t matter what kind of workout you do, those gains won’t come.
