I’m a size 16 5′ 4, age 26 and about 200 lbs. Let me say this is scary. I’ve never been this weight. I have no motivation. I have bad depression and anxiety. I feel like if I had a friend to do it with I could lose the wieght but no one wants to. I need something to do indoors to lose weight. Please help me, I feel like I’m dieing

During the summer i lost over 30 pounds,

but then i started slacking and eating a lot again,
now i always say i’ll start TOMORROW, TOMORROW.

i was just wondering if any one had any tips to recovering willpower..

My question is on a few different levels. Please feel free to be longwinded because I really want to learn about this.

I’ve been losing weight over the last 2 months on diet alone. I’ve lost about 12 pounds this way. I understand how this works – you can lose weight by reducing caloric intake and changing the types of foods you eat.

What I want to understand is how exercise makes you lose weight. I have the beginnnings of understanding on this – that you’re burning calories with the exercise…like if you eat 1400 calories in a day and you burn 300 then your body only thinks you have eaten 1100, right?

But then how do all those old calories come off? The ones from three months ago that made me gain weight?

On the same vein, if i’ve only been losing weight with diet (steadily), and then i have one really good workout, when will it be reflected in my weight? I’m not saying I expect to lose all my weight with one workout, I’m trying to simplify the question.

So i weigh 104 and i am 5-3. i dont need to lose weight, just want to keep off the fat that can be added in the holidays. i normally eat about 1000 daily, but lately, i have eaten cookies and treats that would prob make it bout 1500-2000 daily. how can i burn that holiday weight away?

I have been trying to lose weight since April and have accomplished losing 30 lbs. I weigh 316 pounds and am 5′6" tall. I am eating 1500 calories per day. I walk 10000 steps, or 2 to 3 miles per day. Should I eat more than 1500 calories to be healthy? I have been getting hungry pains in my stomach and have also been very tired lately.
