I want to loose fat from my stomach mainly.
I have started to go the the gym.
Do treadmills loose stomach fat?
If so, how long do you have to be on for how long etc.??

I obvz dont mean the treadmill to loose weight.
Treadmills are great all around. They help you lose fat from your entire body. A lot of people will say you can’t spot reduce, I’m not sure I believe this, but some experts adhere to that.
I think you should definitely use a tread mill, it not only helps you lose fat because you can use it for low impact which is the best for losing fat and increasing your over all health, but you can continually build up to a higher and more intense work out. You can start out by walking, increase your incline, increase speed and build up to jogging which is also good cos of the cardio.
I’m all about tradmills, I lost all my baby weight after I gave birth on a treadmill alone. I lost 7 inches off my thighs in a month and I lost 11 inches off my waist in 2 months. All I did was start out walking and built up to being able to jog on it for 30 minutes. By the time I lost the weight I wanted, I was up to an hour and 15 minutes on my tread mill.. which I still maintain now.
I walk at a slow pace at a 4% incline for 15 minutes then I jog at 5mph at the 4%incline for 30 mins, then I slowly decrease my speed and incline for the last 30 mins. I started out walking for 30 mins up to a 10% incline not over 3.5mph and worked my way up. You get into shape really fast.
I never knew treadmills had stomach fat. I didn’t even know they had a stomach.

Unless, you put stomach fat on them, and then take it off.
But I do not believe treadmills can GROW stomach fat.. .hmmmm…
body fat acts as one, so any cardio you do will cause you to loose body fat through your entire body
It’s not possible to target fat loss, regardless of what you use to exercise. Using a treadmill will give you cardiovascular exercise, which will help you lose weight over time. Your body is the one that decides where to remove that fat, but generally it will reduce fat over your entire body, including your stomach (and especially your stomach if that’s where most of your fat is).
nothing loses stomach fat fast, its a long process to get rid of it

Treadmills, or just jogging outside will help you lose weight and gain muscle, but you must also work out that specific part of your body. Honestly, go on youtube, and search 8 minute abs, and do your running/walking as well
… at least thats what i learned from my fitness gym class

You’re working out the legs when you’re on then.
But it could also help your stomach slightly.
At the gym there are many machines to help your stomach area.
you can’t lose just stomach fat alone…you can’t target a specific area for fat. You lose fat all over the body at the same time. Yes, any cardio including the cardio on a treadmill will help to burn calories and fat…you have to run a lot, though. Break a sweat…run at least a mile at a time.
Also, it’s really difficult to lose fat, stomach fat in particular, if you aren’t changing your diet. Eat really healthy foods and lift weights. All cardio and no weights is not really that great for your body and you won’t see much definition.
You know what is even better for belly flab than the treadmill? Ballet/modern dance/jazz dance…basically any intensive type of dance class. It has always made me tone up so well..that any ice skating.

Walking/running on the treadmill is cardio and that burns fat (walking/running outside is better when possible because the treadmill supports your body weight). You will lose fat from all over not just your stomach. . .that’s where your body likes to store it.

being in your targeted heart-rate zone for at least twenty minutes burns fat like crazy. (your heart rate zone is about 180 for the average person) to find your heart rate, feel your pulse for six seconds and count how many times it pumps. then, just add a zero to it.
(so if you have 17 beats in six seconds, your heart rate is 170)
