Does anybody know a great way to get a flat stomach?
I don’t have a huge stomach or nothing really flabby but I know that if I don’t start something that’s how it will end up. I really don’t want to spend any money on equipment unless I have to. So could you help me please with something that’s helped you. I love to work out so if you have a remedy that way I’d love to hear it as well. Thanks in advance! ![]()
jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
You need a balanced routine that includes weight lifting, cardio and a proper diet.
Weight lifting: yes, you’re a girl. Yes, you still need to lift weights. When girls lift weights, they actually become curvier and skinnier because muscle takes up less space than fat. Weight lifting is required because when you build muscle, you burn more calories. So as you build more muscle, more and more calories are being burned every single day.
Cardio. Normal, steady state cardio like jogging for x amount of minutes is good and healthy. It get’s the blood flowing, massages your inner organs and it’s just overall healthy. Be sure, however, to mix in intense bouts of interval workouts. Interval training burns more calories than normal steady state cardio despite being much shorter in length. This is because they get your metabolism in high gear and it stays that way for up to a day afterward and they also build even more lean muscle mass which is always a plus.
Diet. I won’t preach on how you have to eat natural, healthy foods. You know this already so just do it. But what you might not know is that you should be eating 6 times a day. By eating many small meals throughout the day, your metabolism never get’s a chance to slow down as it’s constantly trying to digest more food. You’ll actually eat more and still lose weight.
