Watch out for the type of fats you eat — stay away from saturated and trans fats (fried foods, shortening, margarines) and use olive oils, nuts, avocados instead. Avoid the combination of fats and sugars (desserts) that will put fat on your tummy area. Eat lots of green leafy veggies – salads, cukes, cooked greens, veggies, root veggies (potato, carrot, beets etc), fresh corn, peas and beans and fill up on those rather than on meats and whole grains — add these sparingly as they have fat and/or work with other foods to store fat. Stay away from white sugar and soda pop, use a little honey or stevia to sweeten beverages and things you bake.
Aerobic exercise, swimming, biking, walking or jogging (work up to 1 hour a day 6 days a week) will help melt the fat off your entire body, including your stomach. You may want to start with just 10 minutes a day and add 5 minutes a day until you get up to 60. Crunches (just bring your head up off the floor instead of a full sit-up), leg lifts while on all 4′s strengthen muscles between naval and knees and will help tone that area as you eat the right foods and walk briskly. Start out slow, and then gradually warm up during your exercise routine so your muscles don’t get injured from quick sudden movements before warming up. Drink plenty of non-chlorinated (filtered or bottled) water.
You may also want to keep track of your success — weigh yourself once a week, and take waist measurements. Good luck to you!
P.S. How shameful it is people (some on this forum) trying to take advantage of those who need to lose weight by scams that don’t say what they entail just a bunch of "my life really changed and it was so awful but now I lost 100 pounds" — only pay $19.95 a month and it will change your life.i won’t tell you what it is until you pay the money, but it is a miracle." If it were legitimate, they would say what it is.
