For abs like the pic, you’ll need to do 45 mins to 1 hour of cardio a day. can’t see ab muscles if they are hidden behind a layer of fat!
And do 7-10 mins. of abs daily. A constant 7 to 10 mins.! Go from crunches(upper abs) to failure, right to frog kicks(lower abs) right to side crunches (obliques) right into the plank, right into leg raises…etc.
If you start this today, you’ll feel results within a day and see results within a week.

ab exercises dont burn off stomach fat, they only make the muscle stronger. You cant target fat loss
actually, just running is probably the best workout for your abs…it also tones everything else up too so why not!?

this is exactly what i am trying to do at the moment, i am not fat, far from it but i am just trying to get in shape and get healthy and particulary get a toned stomach. My current routine I have been at for about 2 months and to be honest running seems to be working the best and ive only made that part of my routine for a couple of weeks. I only run 3KM at the moment on a tredmill and upping that all the time, this is on top of other cardio and resistance training. Basically if you want a flat belly, you have to do everything else as well.

This is a common problem. It really boils down to your body type and motivation levels.
Diet: As a GENERAL rule you want to do a well balanced diet, I recommend body for life (search for it) as it teaches you how to EAT not how to DIET. Big difference. You can ENJOY eating still! For me, thats huge.
