Sad as it seems those exercises where you stand in place and twist from side to side with your arms out seem to do the best.

At 166cm tall and 84kg (after 4 kids) , I am still looking 7 months pregnant but am getting serious about losing it now and what I find to be working is just "the basics". A filling brekkie such as muesli, plus cups of tea, a salad or 1 sandwich for lunch, any snack in the afternoon just fruit, yoghurt or a plain biscuit and then I just serve myself up a small portion of whatever I've cooked my family for tea that night. THEN the hard part - no eating in the evening!!! Tis hard for me as I loooove chocolate and puddings. PLUS aim to do a brisk powerwalk each day. I do mine in the evenings while my husband looks after the kids. Doing all the above I have so far lost 2kg (i was 86). You do get used to it but it is still hard to 'fall off the wagon' and just eat, eat, eat. But I have definitely noticed my stomach's not bulging as much as it was and you can feel it when you put your clothes on. Maybe once you lose some of the fat, just try sit ups with one of those cheap ab rockers? Good luck, hope this has helped you.
