How do I convince my mom to lose weight?
My mom has recognized that she should lose weight, I just need her to be around for when I get married.. grandchildren etc. Are there any tricks to helping her eat better and move more without her realizing she’s on an actually plan? She’s tried diets and Weight watchers but she cant stick with it please help
Have her cut back on the portions, quantities, and have her start with some type of exercise. For example take her out to the mall to shop but don’t buy and until you’ve "walked" around to look for other choices. Park as far from the stores as possible. Any exercise for 20 to 30 minutes 3 to 4 times a week is beneficial. Help her by "suggesting" healthier choices of her favorite foods and in smaller portions. Buy her an outfit two sizes smaller than what she wearing right now and hang it up where she is able to see on a daily basis. One thing that helps me stay on track is to have a scale in the restroom and weigh myself on a daily basis. A bit obsessive I know, but it helps me make better eating choices throughout my day. Ok what ever you do don’t try to convince her just be like mom lets go for a walk or jog or what ev and say lets go to subway or like somewhere that is healthy don’t tell her that. And tell her to eat slower and enjoy the conversation. hope this helps!!
I No this sounds mean but show her fat people show the effects what happen to her show her that if she does it you will able to love her longer and help her to by you not eating choc late or whatever she craves and don’t eat it until she not there
