jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
If you have problems with your back while doing ad exercises, try the
following:
this one will do the best for you, see how you will be laying on your
back, legs in the air:

if you are ready to invest in a ball, try Russian twists, they make
waist smaller and abs harder, and your back lays on the ball:

Ball Knee crunches, where you support yourself with the hands:

abdominal dragon flags :

they have animated photos, so it’s easy to understand how to do them.
first of all: no pain, no gain. if you don;t do something, nothing will grow the way you wish.
try being on your elbows in position of push up, body only on elbows-hands and feet stand as much as you can and repeat few times a day.
while you sit in class, tuck your tummy in and hold this position as much as you can remember., remember to release your shoulder not too look as if you have broom stick in your, butt
The good news is that sit-ups won’t burn fat from your stomach any faster than, say, press ups. When you exercise, you don’t get to choose where the fat goes on or falls off. You just have to exercise and it will gradually burn off.
As for the six-pack, it is bad news perhaps but the same story. You may not be able to have one genetically. To have a 6 pack you need to have less than 10% body fat. For most people, this is physically impossible.
I wouldn’t worry about a 6-pack if I were you. Just play sport a lot and enjoy yourself and the fat will burn off to a healthy level (as long as you eat healthily too).
Most of the work to get a six pack is losing belly fat. So burn more calories than you lose by running outside for about a mile a day until you can do it without changing your pace.
The other part, about 20%, is exercising your abs. Try doing leg lifts that put less stress on your back than sit-ups. Muscle pain is good, but if you are having back pains while doing sit-ups, you are a) using bad form, or b) should get your back checked out. Sit-ups are an ab exercise, not a back exercise.
No pain, no gain buddy.
Watch your favourite sports star, stare at guy models (not in a gay way) or watch an inspirational movie, and then get out. Running, walking, riding and swimming are all cardio exercises which are actually more important than ab workouts. But, yes, sit-ups and that are necessary. Do push-ups and leg lifts as well. And last but not least, the worst of the lot, watch your eating. Junk food every now and then is alright.
Sorry. I know this wasn’t a preferable answer nor will it get best answer, but it’s true. I got one from dedication and hard work. I found the most important part is getting motivated to start with. I watched Nick Reiwoldt play and then the movie Never Back Down.
hey im 14 too. just do a few crunches. you will get older and taller and that will get skinnier.
ny is your best answer but if you want to get the six pack then you will have to painfully sprint a few times at the end or the beginning of your run. Or painfully go without eating,, maybe you just have to deal with the truth life hurts. but the crunches with the overall exercise is your best remedy… i’m sorry i have to say rhis made me laugh because i her peopl in the fourties tha the don’t want to exercise, or eat right, but they will and are they are rolling in there custom made bodies in 38 inch waist line.
Lol Run Run Run, sit ups dont help you get a six pact, they only strengthen it. If you are really serious about getting a six pack try running. It worked for me
Sculpting perfect belly muscles is not that hard. That is not to say it is easy. I will explain the difference. There are only three areas that you have to do to get the six pack abs of your dreams. But the thing is that you have to perform them 7 days a week with the right attitude.
All the info is below. Hope this helps
…by doing chin-ups!!! i saw a quick improvement in my abs once i started doing them. Go buy yourself a bar, the one from the as seen on tv store is amazing
You won’t injure your back if you do them properly.

There is no other way to gain stomach muscle unless you use the muscle!
ur 14, ur not gona get a sick pack.
cardio (running, etc) is the way to go to get rid of your belly.
gets ur stamina up, good for ur heart, etc.
then those situps wont be so painful anymore.
when u "workout" u cant just work on abs, cuz dat wont work.
work a few areas.
RUn, and run some more. when ur done, go run again.
Dean Luke,
You have to admit you’ve got to endure just a little bit of pain! Or else your stomach wont show it! I would do bend overs, but with weights in hand. Make your hands with weights in them touch your feet, with straight legs, and then go up all the way over your head with them, and repeat. Then, take the weights and curl them to your chest from having them down in front of your legs fingers out, then pull those weights up to your chest. Then repeat. You can go and buy those little hand weights, that people use to run with. Those are the kind I am referring to. Good Luck to you. This is not painful at all. You might however, get just a tad sweaty doing this excercise, though. That can be taken care of too, just a little power-shower afterwards will just make you feel so good about yourself. That will be your reward for your hard work. Then after about two weeks of doing these excercises you are going to see results I promise you! Good Results! Smile!!
