How does a 14 year old lose weight?
I’m going to start high school next year, so I wanted to start to lose weight. I am almost 5′ 5" and I weigh about 175. I know that’s a lot. I’ve already cut out sodas and I exercise. I"m a size 13. What else can I do to get down to a size 11?
Write down everything you eat for a few days to a week, and write out how many calories is in each food item you eat. (don’t guess at portion sizes – get out the measuring cups to make sure). It’s a bit annoying to have to look up everything online, but until you know where your extra calories are coming from, it will be impossible to remove them from your eating.
After you see what you’re doing wrong now, aim to eat around 1500 calories per day. Get 30-45 minutes of cardio exercise 4 or more times a week, and you’ll slim down 1-2 lbs per week.

Just make sure that for exercise you are doing lots of cardio. Like running/jogging, jumping jacks, that kind of thing. Eat just a little less than your normally would. Less caloric intake + more calorie burning works wonders.
Try to eat breakfast every morning and cut down on junk food. It works for me, whenever i don’t eat breakfast i always get really hungry and eat whatever I find in the fridge.
