How long did it take you to lose the weight?
I am nearing the end of my pregnancy and I am anxious to start having my old body back. I plan on breastfeeding, which I hear helps you lose weight faster. How long did it take you to get back to your pre-pregnancy weight?
Well every woman and every pregnancy is different. It depends on how much u gained, how fast u heal, how u eat and exercise. U can’t go all crazy as soon as u deliver. u need at least a month to let ur body recuperate and before u can do exercises that will help. I only gained 29 pounds with my son and I was back to normal within a week. I was breastfeeding and that helped a LOT. I was wearing clothes that I couldn’t even wear before I got pregnant!! But as soon as I stopped breastfeeding I gained that extra weight back, but I’m still the same size I was pre-pregnancy now. But if ur gonna breastfeed u need to eat good and healthy and not worry so much about ur weight. Focus solely on ur newborn and worry about ur weight later. U just had a baby… nobody will judge ur body! Good luck and take care!
Ive got a six month old and I tsill have ten to lose, I gained 50. My sister gained 35ish and lost it all in two months. She breastfed exclusively, I only BF for 6 weeks.
my daughter I was just starting to loose it at her 10 month birthday mark! Lol it was rough.. uhm my son (my 2nd child) i lost within the first 4/5 months because I was busy, running around with my 3 year old and also breastfeeding.. not that i didn’t with my daughter but she was also supplemented with formula so.. but yes breastfeeding totally helps! its hard in the beginning but stick with it and i promise it to be an amazing experience and a BIG help with the weight! But after the first 6 weeks post delivery & a clear from the doc start working out trust me you won’t regret it! because other wise you loose pounds but it will sag because you need to tone up.

i gained 26 pounds and lost 18 the day i had him. the other 8 pounds followed quickly and about 5 more after that. so i had lost all the weight quick and then some. i know i was fitting back in my jeans 5 days after i had him, they were a little tight but by week 2 they fit normally. i was lucky and breastfeeding helped a ton
I’m still working on it. I wasn’t in great shape to begin with and I gained a lot of unnecessary weight. I also have a hard time incorporating exercise unless I consciously think about it. Don’t do too much too soon and give yourself time to adjust to old habits.
It all depends on you and how well you can lose wieght and how active you are and what you eat, just stay active, eat healthy and stay breastfeeding and you should lose the weight in no time, thats what I did. I gained 100 lbs and it took me 3 months to lose it all plus 5 lbs!!
i was literally all baby so when i gave birth it pretty much just dropped of straight away. i think i weigh 1-2 kilos (2.2-4.4 lbs)more than what i was pre pregnancy.
about 6 months
its different 4 everyone but i got my stomach back within a week.
