How many calories do i have to eat to lose weight?
I’m going to hire a trainer soon so i’ll start exercising next week. However, i dont know how many calories i should be eating. I’m 24, 5’3ft and weigh 150lbs. My target weight is 120-130. My frame is not to be superskinny girl. I guess i’d be more curvy bc of my bone density.

At 150 lbs you should eat 1500 calories. But all calories aren’t the same. If you ate 1500 calories from carbs alone your body would look worse. But if you split it like 650 from protein/650 from fats/200 from carbs then you would be greatly appreciative and thank me later
The key to losing fat is number 1, maintaining your existing muscle. Number 2, fooling your body into using your stored bodyfat as fuel. Eating as i just suggested does both.
Add in weight lifting 3-4x per week and you will be in love with your new body. there is much more detail but you didnt ask all that so I will just shut my mouth

What you have to figure out is base caloric intake for a day.
-how many calories you eat to stay at a neutral state.
than you subtract from that number usually around 500.
Ex: You caloric intake daily is 2000 calories. You want to lose weight so you subtract 500 and your at 1500 calories. than you just plan out your day and when you will eat. try to eat around 5 meals per day. the more often you eat, even if its smaller meals, the more your body starts to rely on the fact that it has food coming in so instead of storing it as bodyfat it just expels it from the body.
-Try some toning to.. pushups, ab crunches, and/or even walking around the block for 45 min to get your heart pumping.
Whereas the answer for me would be less than 1,800 calories per day, it might be significantly higher or lower for you in light of all the differences between us in contributable factors. This is a question best posed to your doctor or nutritionist rather than a forum such as this. If you are genuinely serious about a you specific answer, start there.
