how many calories do i need to eat to lose weight?
I’m 5’5" and currently weight 230lbs. Obviously this is a dangerous and unhealthy weight to be at so I want to start lowering my calorie intake to lose some of this weight. I want to get down to 180lbs by at least December, that’s six months from now and 50 lbs to shed. So, I’m wondering how many calories do i have to eat to lose those 50lbs in six months?
take your ideal weight and times it by 10
so 180 x 10= 1,800

You should probably try and cut down to about 1300 calories a day and cut out any alcoholic beverages, however, this totally depends on your BMI, age, etc. For workouts, which will be necessary to burn the fat, you should check out ExerciseTV.tv online or on your TV if you have Video On Demand. i want to lose weight to so i make sure on each thing i eat, i look at the grams of fat….so i make sure i only hav 30 grams of fat a day……

I have not tried it but my sister has – she melted away 17 pounds so maybe this help….
