How many sit-ups do I have to do daily to get a flat tummy?
I’m 15, 5’1 and about 100lbs and I’m not that active, I do take PE in school everday though. And by the number of situps you suggest, how long do you think it’ll take for me to get my tummy flat?

You can do millions and it still wouldn’t flatten your tummy. If you have belly fat, and all you do is sit ups, you’ll burn some extra calories, but mostly you’ll strengthen the muscle underneath and the fat will remain.
You must BURN THE FAT, and BUILD THE MUSCLE. Don’t stop doing them though! And add some other strength training exercises to the list as well as some cardio. Remember, the more muscle you have, the more calories your body will burn EVEN AT REST! So if you add muscle, even while you sleep, you’ll burn more calories than you did before the muscle.

sit up , crunches don’t burn body fat. Healthy diet is king – eat more healthy foods and don’t eat less (or you will destroy yr metabolism)..

i need an answer for this, too, but im 13, im 5’2, 5’3, and im 110.
Well i would start off with 15 the first week and increase it by 1 everyday, until you reach 100 it might help, and an exercise ball helps a lot if you get back pain from them.

its dependant on what you eat really, and your activity levels, and your gender
i would try as many as you can do (start with 3×10) and increase it by five (ie 3×15) every week or two
You will reach a limit eventually but it will work
And crunches DO burn energy, any activity does really just the harder ones require more
