15 lbs in 6 weeks is "do-able." Divide that up and it equals 2.5lbs per week. This is healthy weight loss, normally.
The key here is to not focus on number as much as how your size reduces. Muscle weighs more than fat tissue and is thinner, keep that in mind.
For calories, take your weight, multiply by 7. That is what your calorie intake should be daily. If you can handle eating grapefruit, that helps stimulate weight loss, and if you can’t, GREEN seedless grapes as a substitute.
Now, as for excercise, you need to jog 30 minues, 6 days a week for the weight loss you are trying to achieve. This is assuming you are not already working out. You can run for fifteen, jump rope 50 times, then return to a jog, if you like. They key here is CARDIO. Make sure, if you run, you cool down with a 5 minute walk. Walking will actually allow you to burn calories longer, after you have gone on with your everyday activities.
Be sure you are healthy to begin this "project" and drink plenty of water.
700 billion trillion miles…an hour
hahhaha haaaaaaaaa
i crack myself up sometimes!!
Yeah, I don’t know if that’s gonna happen in 6 weeks.
You have to run at least 4 miles a day. And not just jogging or anything.
I run about 7-8 miles a day and I am losing an average of 2.5lbs per week.
Around 3000 calories is equal to one pound. Taking in this many calories without burning any off would add a pound to your body, and burning an extra 3000 calories would take a pound away. Keep in mind that this number may vary according to body type.
i’ve heard that if your body gets used to the exercise you don’t lose weight anymore (bc it adjusts)
so the best thing to do is exercise about 3 times a week, and make it a cardiovascular workout (meaning really work your heart) so however long that takes, about an hour
hope this helps
and good luck
I don’t know. I just wanted to correct a previous response. A pound equals 1750 calorie, not 3000.
try interval training, just google it. too much cardio at too high an intensity results in a catabolic state where the glucose stored in fat is not enough to fuel the body and glycogen stores are depleted. Also a complete diet high in lean protein and moderate carbs is the cornerstone to weight loss.
