How the fudge can I lose belly fat?
Hey there! I’m a Big, lazy fatass. I need to lose weight badly.
I started exercising on this gay exercise bicycle thing- but won’t that only strengthen my legs? How can I lose belly fat, you fat bahstid?
Seriously- no joke. I am a fat bastard- please tell me what I can do to lose belly fat. I no longer have a southern hemisphere, dammit.

Now, you just need to cut out the carbs. White bread is horrible for "belly fat".
The bike is working your legs, but it will allow you to lose weight all over. The belly fat is the hardest to get rid of, so you’ll have to work really hard at it. Do cardio for at least 40 minutes at a time, 3 or 4 times a week. Do that for a good year and you’ll get to where you want to be, or at least see enough progress to keep going. It’s much harder to lose the weight than it is to put it on.

The ONLY way to decrease belly fat is to decrease your body fat overall. You absolutely cannot spot reduce any particular area. The only way to decrease your body fat is to do any amount of cardio, get your heart rate up and keep it there for at least 15 min. Diet goes without saying. You have to eat right as well as exercise.
I have to tell you though, the belly is the hardest area to shrink, and the first place you gain weight will be the last place you lose it. Stick with a good plan and stay with it for the long term…you’ll see results.

Don’t eat fudge, for one thing! You have great sense of humor, though, find an exercise that you actually like or can at least tolerate. Decrease you caloric intake- educate yourself on food- and learn how to cook with healthier foods, especially fresh, seasonal foods. And don’t give up and don’t get discouraged.

Hi, I also have the same problem. The latest information is that the food that causes the most belly fat is white bread. Also stress causes us to produce the hormone cortisol which causes fat to go right to our bellies. Any exercise that is not too stressful should help reduce cotisol and burn overall calories. Building muscles will also help burn the tummy fat. An article from Live Science says "Women who did weight-training for two years had only a 7 percent increase in intra-abdominal fat, compared to a 21 percent increase in the group given exercise advice".
