How to healthily lose weight?
Hi I’m about 5’3-5’4 and 150 pounds and I’m 12 years old
. I do not feel confident about my body and want to lose the weight for next year when I go into middle school. I would like to weigh about 120 lbs. Any tips on how to get me there by September?!
well, healthy weight loss is no more than 1-2 lbs per week. so, what you can do to get yourself toned is to do cardio, 30-45 min, 4 days a week; and cut out the junk food and soda for the most part.
you might not weigh exactly 120 by then because muscle weighs much more than fat, but you’ll be looking and feeling good!
You need wait for your body to grow out first because your just 12.
You might not like my answer, but…
Eat lots of fruits and veggies.
Play! Your a kid, get out there run around, ride your bike…
They say you should eat around 1200 calories a day…
And its 3500 calories a pound. you shouldn’t really lose more than 2 pounds a week, if you lose it to fast it’ll come back fast. :s

all it does is make you more full so you won’t eat as much.
one of my papaws friends did it and lost close to 100 lbs.
You definitely need to wait til you have finished growing.
Seriously hun, you don’t need to worry what other people think about you.
Instead of wasting time of stupid diets have fun! You’re only young once. Learn to love yourself for who you are and let that stress of wanting to lose weight come later if it has too.
I bet you’re gorgeous!!
You need to wait for your body to mature and grow before you even think about dieting.
If you want to stay in shape, eat right, exercise, drink plenty of water, and get a good nights sleep every night.
Talk to your parents about your desire to stay healthy and work with them to cook healthy meals and stay active.
