How to lose belly fat?
I have been on a competitive dance team for the past 4 years and i now am in college. I loved my body when i was on the team, but now i am starting to gain weight and I have noticed all of a sudden that i have belly fat and love handles! I exercise 3-4 times a week and i feel like i eat pretty healthy….How can i still lose weight?
well, you’re exercising and eating healthy, thats a good start!
what you need to focus on now is your eating schedule, this is critical if you want to burn belly fat and overall body fat, just try eating every 3 hours of smaller portions, you’ll be eating the same amount food, but just spread evenly throughout the day
the biggest mistake people make is they skip a meal then they make up for it by eating a large meal
skipping meals slows your metabolism(which increases fat) because your body is hungry and trying to conserve energy, eating large meals makes you gain weight because the excess calories turn into fat
Dont bother with products or whatever , the main thing is your diet, which people always forget! a helthy diet ALONG with exercise will make you loose weight easily!
And it depends where you want to loose weight , but it hlps to do a all body workout instead of focusing on one area! First of all , to loose wieght , YOU NEED cardiovasucalr (heart) exercise! So go for a 15/20 minute light jog in the morning with a mp3 with all of your favourite songs , and dont do the same route , do loads of varieties , and if you have a dog , it can benefit its health aswel , as you can take him to! but make sure you have had a high energy breakfast , i have a bowl of cereal , aglass of orange juice and a banana , and that makes you feel wide awake!
After that just go about yur day , and you will noticeably feel a lot better energy wise , and wont have those little peckish cravings you get during the day. Make sure you dont have any fatty foods plastered in oil , the rue that i go by is , "if it has green in it , im allowed to eat it"
When you get home , rest and watch tv or go about your evening , just make sure you have about 15/20 minutes to do some exercise. Firstly start on the arms , so get some comfortable weights , and lay on the floor. Push the weights up towards the celing , and back down to the floor.Do that about 30 times , then shake out your hands. Now onto your stomach. Do about 20 butt raises (lie a press up , but raise your but to the celling), crunches and situps( get someone to hold your feet , as this helps you and keeps you motivated!) Now onto your legs, do about 20/30 leg raises , but the jogigng in the morning does most of it.
AND THATS IT! but it is mroe important to eat healthily than to do exercise , as it is pointless otherwise! It is most fun whilst listening to your favourite songs , and doing it with a friend , as on those days where you can not be bothered to do it , they will get you to!
I am sure that if you follow my words , you will lose the pounds in no time!!!
(P.S. REMEBER TO EAT THE OCCASIONAL CAKE , AS EVERYONE LOVES CAKE!)
