I want a flatter stomach, is a low-carb diet the way to go?
I know I’m going to have to lose weight everywhere, not just the stomach area, but what helps you lose weight and get that flatter stomach, I’ve heard so many things already but I dont know which one works. I’m a male in his early twenties..
The key to fat loss is a diet of lean protein and low carbs and lots and lots of cardio.
Don’t listen to that person. The easiest way to get a free stomach is a diet containing a lot of protein, and carbs. You want to work out, a lot, using low strain reps, that way you work your muscles, but not too much, or too little. Meaning you get strong lean muscle. Jog, it helps, and keep going for that. Remember, you can’t target an area for weight loss. It naturally comes off all areas of your body. Keep doing it, and you’ll get a flatter stomach, you can stop anywhere you want. It’s hard work, I know, but it does work, and you have complete control.
Why listen to these phonies who want to give you pills, or sell you something? You can do it, for free. In your own time, and get real results.

Cut out sugar. You need to eat carbs or else your body will go into ketosis which is not good. Eat nothing with sugar in it and nothing that turns to sugar (potatos, bread, pasta, etc.) Whole wheat is okay, but it’s better to limit it to once a day, preferably in the morning. Choose fruits and veggies that are low on the glycemic index. The idea is to keep your blood sugar as stable as possible. Of course, calories and exercise are important as well if you are wanting to lose weight, but for toning, you need to do things like sit ups and other exercises to concentrate on the area. Muscle burns fat, so the more muscular the area the more fat it will burn in that area and the more you will be able to see the muscle.
I’m on a low carb diet and I can sometimes lose a pound a day when I put my body into ketosis. My doctor’s are cool with it, I mean I told them I’m on it, Just make sure you take your vitamins or else it will make you really sick (that’s why I had to go to the doctor in the first place). Also if you can stay on it, you’re gonna lose weight, but if you’re gonna eat like a pig when you get off of it, definately don’t go on it. It’s so high in fat content that you’re gonna gain weight like crazy if you stay on it. But I’ve lost thirty pounds doing that so far.
Oh and look for hidden carbs, they’re in so much stuff it’s ridiculous
