Exercise tips?
My question is on a few different levels. Please feel free to be longwinded because I really want to learn about this.
I’ve been losing weight over the last 2 months on diet alone. I’ve lost about 12 pounds this way. I understand how this works – you can lose weight by reducing caloric intake and changing the types of foods you eat.
What I want to understand is how exercise makes you lose weight. I have the beginnnings of understanding on this – that you’re burning calories with the exercise…like if you eat 1400 calories in a day and you burn 300 then your body only thinks you have eaten 1100, right?
But then how do all those old calories come off? The ones from three months ago that made me gain weight?
On the same vein, if i’ve only been losing weight with diet (steadily), and then i have one really good workout, when will it be reflected in my weight? I’m not saying I expect to lose all my weight with one workout, I’m trying to simplify the question.

After I had my son I was not able to lose the belly fat, and now I am trying to diet and exercise to lose it.
Are there any meal plans or exercises that you did to help to lose belly fat?
I dont need to lose weight anywhere else but my belly.

I am 5"5 and 130 pounds. After my third child, I am having problems losing my belly fat. I heard that you cannot lose belly fat without losing weight everywhere. If I lose any weight, I will be a beanpole and I do not want that. I eat pretty healthy and exercise as much as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Alright, I’m about 5′1 Im 14 years old and I’m getting chunky. My friends have made it clear to me that I need to slim down. I am a small person, but I have a big stomach now. I need some motavation and a plan to keep me on a good diet and exercise on a regular basis. I don’t eat right. I love to party, so fast food, snacks, and sweets are what I normally would eat. I had such a fit and medium muscular toned body and i am happy with it. Except my stomach!
Some expert said, sit-up exercise is NOT SUITABLE to loose stomach fat. It it just for SIX-PACKS making. Otherwise (for who has fat stomach), the muscle that you gained from the sit-up, will push your stomach ahead and it will looks larger to the front (fat + muscle). How true is this fact?
Other than sit-up or any kind or exercise (assuming the fact above is true), what is the best way to loose fat of stomach fast? (at least in 1-2 months time)

Im seventeen, 5′4”, small frame and 116 pounds. The only problem is my stomach, which I would really love to be flat, especially since its getting to be swim season.
