What exersices can i do to lose weight apart from going to the gym?
I want to do more exercise to help me lose weight and stay fit, but i get so bored of going to the gym that i dont end up going anymore. I tried running but i got really bad shin splints. I would rather exercise by myself so it needs to be something i can do on my own. Thanks ![]()
To lose weight you should try to do whole body exercise. Try to do at least whole body workout 3 times in week for 30 to 40 minutes.Rest of day you can do light exercise like cycling, cardie. Also to get early result try to do high intensive interval training on treadmill or cycling.
But only exercise is not enough to lose weight. You should have control in your diet. Keep in mind

A good way to maximize your workout routine, is to avoid carbs later in the evening.
Try to do your cardio early in the morning. This will charge up your metabolism for the rest of the day, and your body will burn more fat as energy.
Jogging, or even a brisk walk is great low impact cardio. If you want to really push yourself, try climbing stairs. Its a tough workout.
Wriggle your toes and your fingers whenever you can. This too is a stress buster and it gives you a chance to at least work your hand and leg joints. This will tell you how sore they are and if their condition is so bad, just think of the rest of your body.
