what motivates you to lose weight and stick to it?
i started running awhile back to get in shape for my deb. although i didn’t think it was working as much i would have liked it too i got lots of comments saying i had lost weight from random people and family.
after the deb i stopped and can’t get that motivation back even though i have reasons to want it.
i went through a breakup not so long ago and i really wanted to lose weight and look good.
how do i get motivated to do it again? and stick to it?
It’s all about the way you think.
Think about how good you’re gonna look after exercising and how every bit of exercise counts!
For me, I think about what is happening afterwards, whether it be going out for dinner, school or something else.
I also make it that I have a shower after I exercise so I’m nice and fresh. Think of how good you feel afterwards!
Also do exercise in the morning as you have more energy and the rest of the day to just relax and do whatever!

I’d say a good self esteem or a good reason. You need to have a point to doing something, or you can think to yourself that there is no point and give up. But there are always positive things about losing weight, and a way to get motivation is to get other people involved. Example, you have a dog who wants to go for walks heaps, or you get people to remind and encourage you to keep to it.
Health is my lifestyle. I feel physically good after I run, so I like doing it. I also sleep better when I exercise and I can do anything I want, like play sports.
I never worry about the beach and I like to go shirtless because I’m not embarrassed. My wife finds me sexually attractive and she likes my body.
I can walk a long time without getting sweaty and I can do a million tourist things if I go places.
I am confident and comfortable in my skin. I love my life and I can’t imagine allowing myself to get fat. That’s how I stay healthy and happy.
A great way to stay motivated is just to first find a good diet program and stick to it. This way you will see results and you will continue to be motivated to keep following this diet and losing weight.
Secondly just think of the results your going to get and reward yourself when you reach the goals. Write a list of goals down and everytime you reach one reward yourself.
